Danielle Riverin-Simard, Ph.D.,is professor emeritus at University of Laval (Canada) and editorial member of many scientific journals. From 1989 to 1992, she was the founding scientific director of the Centre for Research in Career Development, and, from 1995 to 1998, a Council member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada. She has contributed significantly to the field of adult vocational education and of career transitions, development and management, through the publication of books (Phases of Working lives; Careers and social classes; Career Transitions: choices and strategies; Work and Personality; Key roles in the revolution of work) and of more than 150 articles in peer review.Danielle Riverin-Simardâs work, well-known in Quebec, Canada and internationally, has received many prestigious rewards. She continues her research in this area by working with senior business executives, public managers and career practitioners to improve the lifelong learning and the lives of workers in the knowledge economy.
